[And once again there's a pile of eggs being broadcast from Gundam's Gear because that seems to be about all he ever broadcasts to people.]

This is the third time I have had such things to offer to the rest of you. With that combined with the recent appearance of those luminous feathers, one must wonder if it is a sign of good fortune...or an omen of imminent disaster. Truly, such things could indeed be a harbinger of the end.

[Because he apparently also has to always do the thing where he acts like a Pokemon egg is going to hatch into some sort of demonic hellbeast and devour its trainer.]

If you are truly brave enough to see which it may be, then perhaps you are capable of taking one of these unborn creatures as your own.

[And then about a minute later a surprisingly normal egg list follows.]

Well, I kinda already did...

[As if on cue, a tiny Pichu pokes her head out from somewhere inside Hagakure's dreadlocks. Apparently they've grown out enough to house electric rodents already.]

I got one of your Pichus, remember? And I wouldn't call her a demon either!

So I guess what I'm saying is, maybe your eggs don't signal the end of all mankind all the time?

Of this, I am well aware! But if you think that it is not a demon, then it is already too late for you.

[The worst part is because of how serious Gundam sounds about this, Hagakure's actually inclined to believe his interpretation of an innocent squeak.]

[It's at this point that Raiu the Pichu begins to sense her trainer's unease. She disappears back into his hair and emerges on his shoulder, rubbing her cheek against him to reassure him.

...It literally shocks him a bit, naturally, and causes both human and Pokemon to jump about a foot.]

What is a friend to one who is destined to be torn apart by demons?

Maybe not the demon part, but Gundam will admittedly sort of always be like "how does i friend?"

[Nor has he had a vision that Gundam won't get torn apart by demons. But that's probably for the best considering the 20-30% success rate. Still, no news is good news, right?]

Did you get any indication of what might cause it? I might be able to help you craft some kinda ward to delay the curse's progress if I have more info!

I dunno if I can do anything to help reverse it since the roots are back in our world, but maybe we can take some preventative measures so it doesn't show up here? I've got plenty of charms and stuff.

What charm would you suggest?

I've got a pretty good all-around curse-warding charm if that sounds good to you! It's not as strong as a more focused charm, but you'll have your bases covered if something does crop up. I figure it might be a good one to go with since I'm not totally sure of the exact nature of your curse.

Are you saying that some generic catchall ward could dare protect against the curse of my otherworldly forces?

You...do remember I'm Super High School Level, right? It's not like this is a bottom of the barrel all-around charm.

I do, but I assure you that my unique nature most likely requires something far more specialized.

Well, I guess if you're really sure, we could have a charm-testing session...I could come up with a couple specialized ones and we can see if anything sticks.

[The hardest part is telling if it actually works since they won't know until Gundam's fate actually befalls him.

If that is what must be done, then so be it! I shall allow myself to participate in such a test, but do not be surprised when my demonic aura renders some of your charms to dust!

[Well that's a little intimidating...but at the same time Hagakure's happy that Gundam trusts him enough to do this.
